Hey guys,

Yes this is another philiosphy discussion....

As you can see from the title, this discussion is about Metaphysics, or most simply, ultimate reality. What is ultimate reality? Is there Substance? what is substance, and how many substances are there? How are Individual things composed and identified? How do thing interact? How did substance come into being? Does the Concept of Space and Time hold true, is it within the bounds of substance, or does it exist at all?

Those are the basic and essential questions asked by philisohers. Please present your responces in this fashion....
1)(Your ideas/ thoughts about the universe)
2)Rational, Deductive (no inferences please) logic as to why your ideas can be held as true
3)Why you choose your ideas....

example****
1) Everything is made of chicken
2) everthing tastes like chicken
3) I like Chicken...

Please, try not to make this thread flamebait

Time:

1) Time is just an illusion... It is a human-developed "thing" that exsists purely because we needed something to allow us to measure the days, which are just the cycles of our planet rotating (quite fast, if you think about it).

2) Without "Time" things still happen, it doesn't matter if we say "It's 10am and that rock just rolled off that cliff" or, if we say "It's light and that rock just rolled off that cliff" (where "Light" means daytime, dur...). Without "Time" humans would still be able to get to certain places "quickly" or "slowly", we jsut wouldn't measure how "long" it took us to get there in Minutes or Hours, but in speed etc.

3) Time is a load of crap, you can tell its a fualy system, take Leap years for example, what's up with that? why couldn't they just add that extra quater of a day onto the end of everyday already made, and make each second go for 110 milliseconds instead of 100?
Although, Time is usefull for keeping track of when it is
