Trying to find the right version to comply with registered serial code is a pain.

I mean there are threads on where to download v18.17 beta
there is a link on main page to download Free version, htere are post linking to Google code projects, there are links to mod version.

i mean its Dam crazy having all this a dam links all over the place,

I have bought 3 copies so far, and thus i wonna download the Full Retail version that goes with my serial. not a free version that allows the serail to work, because how do we know that the free version is the latest build without installng it.

and so i don't won't to search and download the latest beta @18.17

even searching takes you all over the place,

we Need a plain and simple post ,

Download Full/latest Fpsc version HERE, Only registerd user has full build options

or even leave the old version 17 for Free and have the latest version in our Accounts for download.
If new come use older version and like what they see then they will purchase latest.

Any way my main poit is to have a clearer understanding of where to download the full latest build, Not a beta and not a free version But our paid one.

If you bought FPSC and have it on CD then you install the original version from your cd and then download the update from here.

There is no download to the newest full version. You update your original version. Also I don't remember which version introduced it but FPSC does have an option to check for updates and download them from within the program.

If you originally used FPSC Free and purchased the build game upgrade then you download FPSC Free and input your serial and then down the update to the latest version from here.

FPSC Free once upgraded is the full version, it just lacks some of the media from the CD version, but in all others ways has identical functionality to the CD version.

Well TGC did use to allow users who bought the full version to be able to download from an FTP Server. That from what I can see is gone now.

If you bought it from TGC you should have the CDROM, unless you downloaded the free version and upgraded it. I'm not sure what the process for upgrading the free one, but I thought you would have gotten a serial code for it.

I understand that you think it would be good to have a clear and simple post on how to do all that you asked. However you would be surprised how many people who post on this forum don't even read the rules on WIP or Showcase. So yea it would be good, but I honestly don't see it helping and you would still see post just like this one.

Yes, you could download version 1 from the server while you waited for the CD to arrive in the mail. AFAIK at no point has a full updated version of FPSC been available, you always have had to install your original version and then download and install the upgrades.

I can still download the CD Version from my profile. I would assume that's the same for all who bought it? Also, the download says that the file was updated in 2010. I'm not sure what the update is because I've always used the original CD.

I stand corrected. This most have been changed with the new product page. I also use the CDROM, so I would not have noticed this.

I do have the Cd's
Fpsc Cd v1 and X10

But what i mean is, Can't we have a whole complete all singing and dancing one install. instead of installing an outdated version and then having to find the latest, For which i can't see any post or contents in my order saying Upgrade Here sort of link.

As my fpcs does check for latest build @ present it is 1.18.017
But from the beta page it is still saying the same, and to me it is miss leading.

As i have read that this latest build is a final release, or is it still beta?
Even Tho the download page say's Latest Upgrade, But what actual upgrade is it, IE Beta or Final

Could we have an actual Link Page/Post Sticky in the forum,
Saying where to go and get the Upgrade of final from. May be a bit more clearer saying in the download page from here

I may be a bit Picky, Sorry But it jsut the way i like to find things.
So could we have an upgrade as a full complete version instead of installing from cd first, And so we can just download from in our order account.

This is a good example of downloading an inccorect version, that i have downloaded and installed on other pc, as it is in your face on front page.

Because it installs as a whole from one file and you don't have to download the upgrade and thus you just enter the serial code. and so why can't we have a full version in the same way.
