I know the guy who made the very first propper RPG computer game.

I've met darts legend Jockey Wilson (went to school with his nephews), he is an indescribable alcoholic b******.

I was a graphic artist in the days of the Amiga. I worked on...

DragonBreed
RtypeII
Armalyte
The Simpsons
Robozone
PredatorII

When DragonBreed was completed we had a Go-kart race day, and all the famous programmers were invited. Psygnosis were there, and Archer Maclean took my photo.

Johnathon Ross was commissioned to sell DragonBreed at Earls Court. My graphics were displayer on a 12foot screen behind him. Frank Bruno, and Esther Ranson were also there.

Whilst working on Predator 2 we were given the script, and the film before it was available to the public.

Our Simpsons game was shipped with the Amiga as part of a bundle.

I saw Star Wars Episode 2 and Matrix reloaded the first day and showing they came out.

I Have a score of zero (never saved, never died) on both the Engilsh and Japanese copies of Zelda : Link to the Past.

I own a Super Famicom with Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger

I beat a team (3 vs me) of level 9 (max difficultly) Computer oppoinents, all having 7 lifes, in Super Smash Brother for the N64, and I taped it.

I have nearly 200 console video games and I've beaten over 2/3 of them.

I got through to finals in UK high score compo by playing chuckie egg 2 on ZX Spectrum.

Got a signed John Barnes football game for Amiga. Might be worth something one day!

Worked with Gareth Hunt (of New Avengers fame) for about 2 years.

Linda Robson's husband used to clean our work windows. Linda was a good customer of our computer games shop. Wish we were still doing that as we got to play all latest games before release.

I can bend my thumb back so it touches my arm.

Saw David Blaine in his box - didn't have any eggs to throw at him though.

Finishing all three myst games without cheating (took a LONG time though).

Getting 5 numbers on lotto extra (which doesn't pay anything). 1 more number and would have been rich.

I'm Sa'Khan of the Neo Wolf Clan on Mech Warrior 4: Black Knight (problem is, I'm too busy to play it anymore)

My cousin and a select few others that had amazing skill in concert band went on a tour of Europe last summer.

I'm the biggest target to make fun of at my school.

I've chatted with everyone in the DB team but Jason, and met Mike in person

My grandfather is a rather famous weapons designer and an honorary Duke in the SCA.

I was friends with the neice of the mad scientist in Independence Day.

My mom went to school right around where Raymond E Feist and his friends played their pen and paper game that turned into the Riftwar seires & world.

I almost went to a Jackie Chan video singing (but realized I didn't have any of his movies, I just rented them).

My father knew (through some kind of magazine) the editor of a now somewhat popular fantasy magazine that I can't think of the name of right now.

I'm aquainted with a guy in the city council, who recently had a formal lunch with the Attorney General (okay, so I'm getting desperate).

I recieve countless mails from a rich and famous Nigerian businessman whose wife was assassinated in a brutal raid on the capital city and now has to live in hiding in some rundown ghetto district in the corner of the country with the rest of the country officials and only needs an investment of $100,000 to recover lost billions!

I've met a few people, a hand full of Aussie music & some international drumming celebs (of course).. Although in the land of computers, The most interesting of which would have to be Mark Sibley .. aka the Wild Bunch back then.

While working (briefly) for Digi Soft (in geelong - long defunct)... I met Mark when showing Mujo our tech demos of T12 and Queebie. Should have seen the look on their faces. Priceless

Here's a strange one.... Remember UK Gladiators? I chatted up Lightening's mom, and had a slow dance with her! LOL! Well at least I got free tickets for the show, and a signed copy of Lightening's picture!
Oh yeah and I was seated right next to Ulreka Johnston.

Someone brought a C64 music program I wrote years ago; an Archimedies game I wrote was reviewed by an Acorn magazine; wrote an educational game for a local junior school; wrote a doubly-linked list in ARM assembler for the RiscPC - got £30 or for it; someone has brought the full BASS interface (and I'm still doing the documentation for it) and of course, I organised the UK convention.

I've met Jimmy Saville and I've been to Portmerion. Missed The Prisoner convention by a few days though...

Its what the Japanese do the sell the game again:

DX = delux, all that they did was stick in a few more trophies (actually kind of sad)

Street fight 2 did it as well:
"Street fighter 2"
"Street fighter 2 Turbo"
"Street fighter 2 X : New challegaaaa" (or something like that)

Its the only thing IMHO worse than sequils.

My girlfriends Auntie is good friends with all the guys at Team17.

I met Geoff Capes and Linda Lusadi back in 1987

In 1976 I had a drink with Barry Sheene on board his yacht in Pourto Banos. I was only 6 and don't remember too much about it.

I was driven around Albert Park the Melbourne grand prix circuit by Jenson Button.

Just a couple of months ago I was 'forced' to attend a tea party with Tony Blair. I didn't want to go but I was told it would be 'good for moral'. ... Yeah right!
