So what i am asking is, if red is bad, how do i stop it happening?

I may be wrong, but I always thought the red were static and the green were dynamic (just like the entities). So walls and floors will show up red, whilst doors and windows will show up green.

The wireframes for the segments turn green, and segments can't be dynamic.

You can add entity's to segments.
So segments can contain both. I am not sure if these entity's would become static or not (never really had any reason to do it)but reckon since your adding the models fpe settings to the segment they should remain dynamic.
Even so with regards to above screenshot, it looks like there are dynamic windows and doors added to the segments in the scene (it may be that a segment wall inherits dynamic properties of the door through boolean cutter or simply that colour as its been cut and has nothing to do with dynamic).....so yeah
Seems no one has a definitive answer to this.
