ive been having problems with making a snow texture, its all dark when its in game but its nice and bright in the map editor. thanks

Try these. You can change the shader as needed.

Yes, be sure that full shaders are turned on. And if you want to use a different shader, just change the entry in the .fps file ( effect0 = )

Sorry I only sent you the "D2" textures, add these "D" textures as well to the folder and try again.

If it still does'nt work post a screen so I can see what's going on.

Don't forget to 'delete' any .BIN and .DBO files of the segment before testing with any new stuff added.

I don't know if this helps, but I went through this and saw a few problems. When using segment shaders, the textures must be in the texturebank or the effect will not work properly. So I took some time to look through and made some changes and these should work just fine now. Also I used bond1's free segment shader to take the place of the bump shader you were using. I changed the spec map to a nice blue to give that frozen o2 look. Enjoy!

EDIT:
In the download below, is the map and all the files ready to be unzipped into your files folder. If you move the files from the folders I have made make sure you edit the .fps file with your changes.
