Hi all, I have two relatively similar specced PCs at home, but both differ in one major point. One has an nVidia 1G video card and the other has a Radeon 1G video card.

The program I'm running uses DarkCLOUDS, and it runs fine on the nVidia box, but lags like crazy on the Radeon box... Both have the latest drivers of course, but I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this? I know that DarkCLOUDS isn't supported anymore by it's creators, but I thought I'd check and see if anyone else had noticed...

No-one knows? Augh. It sucks that a product is being sold that isn't supported by its developers

But it's so good! lol

On my previous system (Vista) I had an ATI Radeon HD, and DARKClouds used to run pretty smooth on that system. I have Windows 7 now, and a Radeon graphics card as well, but haven't checked DARKClouds yet on it. Will test later and report back if you wish?

Cheers

Just tested it. Had no problem running the DARKClouds example.
What is the fps you get on both systems?
Do you use the same settings on both systems (antialasing, level of detail, etc...)?

Cheers

Yeah, both use the same settings, both have similar hardware (aside from the video card) but on one box I get 60fps, the other I get around 5fps... Hmm...
