I've an issue with making a matrix where if I specify the dimensions and segment count with literals DBP makes it just fine. However, when I attempt to do the same using variables I get matrix dimension/segment errors. I've tried using vars specifically set up as floats and integers too, and still get the same errors.

Any Ideas? Thanks.

Not sure exactly what you mean. Does the following work for you?

 w =1000
 h = 1000
 xseg = 25
 zseg =25
 
 make matrix 1,w,h,xseg,zseg
 
 position matrix 1,0,0,0
 randomize matrix 1,rnd(100)
 update matrix 1
 do
 loop
 if matrix exist(1)=1 then delete matrix 1
 end

Your signature has been erased by a mod please reduce it to 600 x 120.
