Ok i'm using paint.net but i dont know how to make texture's like the rest of you guys do???
how do i do this do i need pictures from google or something?

Can you be a bit more specific? Textures for what - rooms, characters, entities, etc? Whether or not you use images or create you own textures from scratch will likely depend on what the texture is for, though you can certainly go either way.

Also google sites that offer textures to get you started, like http://www.cgtextures.com/

Gimp is a free image software, try that

I use paint.net to make the base colour and trasparent layers then gimp to add effects like making it seamless. I tought myself by playing around with the programs.

Search google, there is a couple of good tutorials on the internet
