What exactly do they do?
Do they make your game look better?
Do they slow it down?
Are bond1's free?
Where can I find them?
How do I apply/ use them?

Thanks, Wheatley

A whole myriad of things
Yes, but only if you use them right
Sometimes, but what in FPSC doesn't?!
Some are, some cost money
Many MPs and the forum search button
bond1 made a tutorial about that, it's on his YouTube channel

New sig in the process of being made

They do a lot. Primarily they're used (here at least) to make things shiny and realistic (unless they're over done). But they can also make things look animated, like Bond1's TV shader, or if you use a fullscreen shader it acts like a filter on a picture.

are they .fx files? And where are they found within the "files" folder in my TGC folder? Is it gamecore?
