hello i was wondering what happend to firma v2 as it will not work on my pc anymore i made a post about it a few months ago but never really got a legitimant answer? i miss firma it was great for people like me that arnt super good at modeling and do not have much time on there hands? well i was hoping somebody could let me no whats up however i did come accross an update for firma but it still didnt work after i applied the update? well i hope it didnt get abandoned because it was a super awsome tool!!!!

I still use Firma v2 and works fine on all my pc's IE xp pro, Vista and win 7, but they are all at 32 bit as i don't wonna change to 64 bit

But as another greate bit of software like firma that does all and more, i do tend to also use SignsV

Back to Firma
Make sure your firewall is not preventing it from running, and also any other programs like AVG or spyware software, as they may have been updated and may have put a block on it.
I can't personaly see why, but such programs tend to do strange things to software that has been running fine.

Maybe a complete unistall and then run a windows cleaner program and then try installing.

i have it on all pc's and have no problems with it, it is not a reg cleaner, but just cleans out all the rubbish from what programs has stored in temp/cache files and folders, that could be causing issues.

whats up spud i tried to reinstall firma and i get the same error its error 8003 could not find path at line 112 im not shure whyit will not work!! thanks for the link to signs its much appreciated!

Assuming your using vista,

From my understanding of error 8003, is that there is a file or folder that cannot be deleted or rewritten edited or created back over. Eg A file restriction.

Try starting your pc in safe mode, by tapping the F8 key whilst system is starting, Not when windows is booting up but before it gets to that stage.

Anyway, when you are up and running in safe mode, goto add remove programs and uninstall firma from there.

Restart back in normal.

Note: you may have to move your existing firma folders in your fpsc segments and entities folder to another place before doing a clean install of firma, as firma wants to create these folders again and if they already exist then that maybe causing a proplem.

Also have a look where firma was installed before to see if all has bee deleted when you uninstalled it, if anything there then manualy delete it.

Ok find your firma install program, and right click on it and select Run as Administrator and continue the install process.

make sure the settings in the install are going to the correct place of fpsc folder see my image attached

if all installs and work, then just copy the moved folders back, thats if you have made existing stuff, if not then just delete the firma segment and firma entity folders that are in fps creator.

@ spudnick thanks dude ima work on firma later hey i have a quick question about signs i downloaded signs for 64 bit and after i install it my pc my pc restarts and i load up signs but it ask for my email and a keycode? what am i supossed to type in ?
