i had a HD go bad in my comp )-:
so i've been updating and installing for the last few days to get my comp back up and running
well i've loaded up DBPro with the most current version and ide, but i'm having a problem
it will only let me open one dbpro window, at a time????

it didn't do this before my crash?

anyone know what might be wrong?

win xp

My advice is free -

This is how the IDE is *supposed* to behave. You can get round this limitation by opening the project in different ways.

really????

my other comp opens more than one DBPro window at one time?
i just click on the icon and a new window pops up, i can have as many open as i want, that isn't normal?
darkedit works the same way....
i usually have several open and switch between them, cutting and pasting. it saves on typing time.
this comp used to be able to do the same thing, before the crash?
now it doesn't )-:

odd... the IDE has only ever supported 2 open versions
Directly opened & program assocation opened

always pissed me off that limitation

when ever i try to open 2 dbpro windows, the second closes and the first just sits there, is that how it is supposed to work?

First you open an existing project with the editor, then you can open another from the start menu or the desktop icon
