I have been designing my game on a fixed size screen and now I have a problem. The window size is small and everything thus far has used the normal text size. What I would like to do is have scrolling text above the player's head but the regular font is to big for the play area. I tried to do a test with text size 8 and the font is still the same size. Is there a way to make the font size smaller? is it the font style that i need to change or something? I do not want to use images or anything so if that's the only route I will try and make the regular size work.

To go smaller than the normal size you have to select a font other than the default one that Darkbasic Pro starts with.
