Hi guys,

I really need some help. When I add this DBPGDKMergeModule.msm module it builds everything correctly. However when I try to install the msi installer I get this error. "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." After that it basically rolls back the install.

Can anyone help me out so I get it to not show that and make it install without any problems? Thanks

Hi Guys,

I figured the problem out here is what happened.

So if anyone installs a old directx game like rainbow six convert ops or rouge spear your going to have problems. I would make a restore point just before you install it. The only fixes I see is 1. buy the Directx Happy Uninstall program which is $29 bucks 2. using a restore point 3. just re-install windows. I hope this helps anyone if they run into this same issue.
