Hey guys, I have recently bought a few TGC models of the game creators store, (including the fairy and a few free ones like the ninja and mummy) and when i place them on a test level, the free characters are completely black and have no textures and the fairy is just invisible but her shadow is still there. I am running FPSC x9 on v1.18.

Any help?

I would say try and reinstall them maybe remove them from you app folder as I have them same models and it works, did you make sure the program was running in admin mode if it was installed on window vista/7 as it might not able to right to the program folder.

I am a programmer but want to try making a game also own x9

check the .fpi files for the models. Do you have the correct texture path?
If this is okay, check that the textures are where they should be.
If all this fails, send me an email at: [email protected]

Thanks,

Are you running a MOD?
Have you tried with shaders on and off?

Yeah, I'm running WASP mod v2 and i have all of the settings to max. Could a mod affect the models?

Thanks

I'll let someone familiar with WASP answer that question, but you might try turning on shaders if they're off, or turning them off if they're on and see if it makes any difference. It sounds like a shader issue.

Hmmm, after following Brian's tips, i managed to make all of the free models work perfectly but my fairy is visible, but completely black.
