Hi.

I have downloaded a 3D Model of a column in 3ds format, i loaded it into Blender to export it to .X format.

Now when i load it up into Entity Workshop it looks like the picture posted. But when i use the DX viewer it looks fine.

Any Ideas?

Many Thanks

I think that the model needs to have all it's vertices 'welded together' in a modeling program before exporting to .x format.
Maybe this is it?

Good luck

Worf

I don't use Blender but the process should be similar to that in Milkshape which I use.
Method in Milkshape:
Choose 'vertex selection tool' and select (by draging a square selection box) all the vertices in the model then go to vertex options tab and select the option 'weld vertices'.

I hope this has helped in some way but maybe someone who also uses Blender will see this Post and help a little further.

Best of luck with this.
