Ah no. but you can make a setup variable using the GUI x9 commands and then either use that directly, or transfer it to a global variable somehow.

Yup. Check out the GUI x9 thread as I've been discussing this with knxrb recently.

The commands open loads of possibilities!

It's a shame there's no direct way of reading the value into a custom variable, but there are other script methods to achieve this.

Yes, but the setup variables are not the same as global variables as varless, vargreater, etc. won't work with them. You can only use the setup variable commands.
