Why am I getting Banners / Ads on my DarkBasic Pro that I paid for ? I have not had them all this time, And I have not changed anything. Now all of a sudden its showing me ads once in a while when I start DBP. I would have to shut down my DBP and start it back up and then the ads / banners would be gone. But what confuses me is why I got it in the first place ? I have not changed or altered anything and I have paid for this so that I NEVER get ads / banners.

This just started happening today.

Still using same DBP that I have been using for months. 1.07.

I have this too, some time, it is maybe marketing from TGC to send some news about they new product, like a "NewsLettre".

don't see this badly, it's help TGC to sell product and give to us helpfull tools for Game Making.

Well thankfully I'm not geting it. And I would see it as a problem. They already have my email for marketing puproses as well as the forum ads, and I have the gamecreators toolbar installed.

In my view it would be inapropriate for them to force me to view banners or ads for a paid product, especially without a clear ability to turn off such feature.

Your signature has been erased by a mod please reduce it to 600 x 120.

And that's exactly my point, in the description it says that the paid version the ads are removed. So this IS a problem.

Out of curiosity I checked mine and it also shows ads even though I've been registered. So I clicked on Help, Check for Darkbasic Professional Modules, Activate/Register, Enter Order Key, and re-registered. Now the ads are gone. Apparently we have to re-enter the key every once in a while to program in the newest IDE ad free. I didn't notice because 99% of the time I use BlueIDE 2.

If you don't know how... to find your registration key go to TGC homepage and click "My Account" at the top of the page, then click "My Products", and hit the small text "activation keys".

That was happening to me, when I finished activating all the adds went away. I think I had to close out of the program and re execute.

I wonder if this only happens if you used the free version first then upgraded .I bought the full version years ago before the free one was available so I would not know but what ti sounds like to me is some faulty code with in the editor from the upgrade if this is what it is..

Yea, its been on my computer for months without a hitch. And then suddenly it started doing it. I shut the program down and restarted it and then it went away.

I did not upgrade from the free version. I installed the version that is in my personal download section of this website that I paid for with the Key.

I do not think its a matter of activating it again. Because I can restart the program and the ads go away. And what is interesting, is that it has not done it since the day I posted the first OP. So at this time I am not sure what to think, but at least its not doing it again.
