I am animating a sprite MANUALLY, setting frames one by one from a sprite sheet, when I need to, at my own speed.

I am NOT using PLAYSPRITE.

If I change the uv co-ords of my sprite, whilst it is not animating, I get all the animation frames to scroll by!

Is it possible to use UV with animated spritesheet sprites?

It depends what UV changes you are trying to make. Zooming in, maybe, but scrolling, I don't think it'll work with sprite sheets. Anything that extends beyond the bounds of the current frame is going to pick up the other frames until it reaches the edge of the sprite sheet and then wraps around.

yes i am using scrolling.

good to know, as i thought i was doing something wrong myself in setting up the sprite sheet animations
