Finally installed the new DBP editor (only because the upgrade automatically did it) and there is now a very irritating problem. Once I started the program I noticed a nice little spambox taking up the bottom 8th or so of the screen...clicked the close button on it and poof gone...great now to get coding.

A compile cycle later, the stinking spambox is back, this time w/o any way to close it. I looked through the options but didn't see anything that looked like it had any association with said spambox.

Well, at least I don't have to log into TGC to see all the wonderful advert banners for products available on the site now, even though I never paid much attention to them.

What am I missing here? I hope there is a way to get rid of the thing. Thanks for any helpful responses!

If you bought Darkbasic Pro all you have to do is register it and the ads go away.

Ah thanks Grog! That fixed the spam problem...it would have been nice for the program to let me know it wasn't registered like the old one did.

Now to un-*$#! my DBP (revert back to the old editor) as this new one doesn't like my code for some reason even though it worked just fine in the old editor. All this trouble just to "fix" DBP free-flight commands....

The old editor is still there. Just run one of the many editors installed with DBP! lol
