So in my area there are a lot of meet up groups, and technical groups, python, c++, Unity, Javascrips all have their own groups in my area (Riverside County).

Are there any other DBP guys in So Cal that would want to start a DBP group?

I'm at the very northern tip of southern Cali...Lompoc, near Santa Barbara. I'd be interested but I don't think my work schedule would be very accommodating - swing shifts Wed-Sun. Add to that, the meetings would need to be in a centralized place, or hop around the area so people aren't always stuck driving 3 hours for a meet. Sounds like a plan though.
