Okay so i have antigrav platforms in the air and they don't work at all with waypoints.

you have to setup a closed room as far as i know to get them work.
entities have big problems to follow waypoints in outdoor without an invisible wall around or simply some walls that mark the room, especially to change heightlevel.

try a closed room and look if its working. then deconstruct room part by part until it doesnt work anymore so you know what elements are needed.

It is a proximity problem as maho76 said above. The platforms have no base from which to calculate movement. You may get away with placing invisible floor segments below them and any place they will move.

I remember trying to get it to work about a year ago, the only thing I remember was someone said it was getting fixed in one of the updates. Not sure if that's true though.

I don't think the invisible segment thing works either, I do remember a few years back Gunn3r made a rail shooter where he got the anti-grav platform to work. He's the only person I've seen to get it to work.

never tried it atm, but: look at the sample-maps, antigrav is working in them, so it should work in other maps,too.

take the sample level and delete the elements piece by piece until the plattform doesnt work anymore. finally you should have got the basic elements neccessary to get this done.

mmmh, strange. i know that the railshooter-system works fine, but never checked the antigrav-standard. i will give it a try today evening because i want to implement it in one of my next levels.

i will post here if i can get whats the problem.

I remember helping Lee test and fix (I did the testing) some problems with moving platforms. He fixed it for v1.18. So, I'm not sure what problem you are having with it. I have used it in other designs.
