I just wanted to post a thread to get some C&C on guns I am/will be devving in the future. Im not going to post guns from my Free Weapons thread in the FPSC section here because those are previous to me getting 3DS Max and dont reflect the quality of my current work.

Anyways, here is something I whipped up in a couple of hours for the Halloween Pack (hopefully). IDK if ill be able to finish in time though:

This shotgun is based off several Remington Shotguns. As you can see it isnt completely finished but please dont hesitate to give me some C&C.

Again C&C is welcome, the harsher the better!... Ill post more weapons as I model them.

Cheers,
Anayar

Nice work, looking at the Remington rifle I have (which looks a lot like this shotgun), I think the stock should be rounder, but it shouldn't matter with a texture on it.

Good point Vent, Ill make sure to round the stock off a bit more... right now it looks like the recoil could break ribs lol

Working on a new weapon... about 2 hours in so far. Just blocking out the basic shapes, now to do the smoothing and chamfering work

Please post some C&C!

Cheers,
Anayar

Nice work, I like it. Foregrip seems like it might be a little uncomfortable though.

I would really love to see some alternate views on this, especially a wireframe overlay and fps view.

It seems like there are cylinders and other details on the side of the model that are very high poly, while things at the top and bottom are very low poly. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it looks "off" to me. Truly an awesome looking weapon though. I would love to shoot that.

That axe has smoothing group errors I like the texture work a lot though, you just need to work on where you place your scratches.

Oh man, I wish ^^ No, it was based on a reference pic I found on the net If anyone is interested I can upload it here.

Anyways, been real busy with my Weapon Pack in the FPSC board, but hey! It's a new year, new beginning, so expect some new models and some new textures.

BTW, the Remington's been textured and is brig animated as part f the pack. I'll post a shot sometime tomorrow along with some other stuff

Cheers,
Anayar
