It's a good start, but I would seriously retexture the refrigerator and mailboxes because the colours are quite bland (maybe try adding some shaders?)

Otherwise, keep up the good work!

They are brighter in the picture then they actually are. They are very dark in the other one. But I'm editing them now.

You need in-game screenshots in your first post (viewable without clicking links) to be able to keep this thread open.

Why is there a huge difference in the quality of some of the models and textures. Are these all your work?

Yes, but I'm a bad texturer. I can't texture for nothing. I normally just use basic colors, or I just get textures.

P.S: (Texturer is not a word)

Either way is fine; as long as we can clearly see the vehicles.

Excuse me? What I use images from google chrome, dude everyone does. What's your problem?

-I did not texture the cars. I searched car images from google then put some on. Is that illegal or something? Because if so half the people who texture model packs are pirates.

-And I make sure the images are not being used or copyrighted.

-I've got better from using tutorials from My3DTextures And thecomsicprophet

And last but not least thecosmicprophet tutorials

Yes. That is illegal, but don't take offense. It is a common internet misconception. You either need to take the image yourself, or get them from a site like CGtextures and make sure you follow the rules of the End User Liscence Agreement (EULA). The model packs here are not made by using a google search. I would be willing to bet that every model sold by the game creators is either a custom image or made from a royalty free media site, and they probably have documentation to prove it.

Using someone else's image is not a bad thing (let me finish) as long as you have express written permission to do so. Like I said, don't be offended many people before you have thought that google images are ok to use and I am sure you will not be the last. I suggest grabbing a cheap digital camera, even a used one, and get a program called GIMP and learn to make seamless textures and such. Your modeling skills look good, just a few tries with the textures and you got it.

A lot of people here are also willing to help you texture and to help you learn how to texture, I believe there is a sticky link that lets you know their skills and rates if any apply.

Long story short, just because it is on the internet does not mean it is a free for all.

Good luck, man. Hope to see more from you.

Thank you for that post, I did not know... remember I just joined the forum a few weeks ago. I don't use google for all my images just the cars. But thank you and I will look forward to getting some tutorials for texturing.
