Hi,

I bought the software yesterday and have it installed on Win7 Pro. When I run FPS Creator, the window appears, followed by FPSC-MapEditor and an Error dialog. This says:
Runtime Error 5104-Could not create memblock at line 9978

The software is installed to the default directory and I have tried running it as Admin, to no avail.

I have looked through few threads here relating to this error, but most of them seem to be from 2009 and no definite fix has so far been forthcoming.

Any help would be much appreciated. So far this afternoon, FPS Creator has been an exercise in frustration.

Thanks,
Leaston

Hi again,

I have been receiving many alerts from my anti-virus software about one of the temporary files installed by FPS Creator. It's the following file:
dbprobitmapdebug.dll

This file is found in a temp folder named dbpdata<n> under AppData in my Win7 profile - The <n> is an incremented number and it creates a new folder each time I run FPS Creator.

Having tried running both the downloaded and CD version, I get the same results each time. Sadly, Avira anti-virus doesn't allow me to make exceptions for files which change locations. I uninstalled FPS Creator and Avira, reinstalled FPS Creator and it runs perfectly!

My conclusion is that FPS Creator is causing a false positive in Avira that I can't disable. This isn't the first time Avira has caused issues with genuine files.

Hope this helps someone else.

Cheers,
Leaston.
