Same question as the title I'm beginning to distribute the alpha version of the game to a few testers and am using the Matrix1 command DIR EXE() to set the file path.

When you compile your code it creates/runs an exe file of your game automatically, but the file it's sent to is something along the lines of "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp". I'd like to change where that exe is saved to.

It saves wherever your project file is located?

This is where the temporary full source code id created for compilation.

Ah, guess that's the reason it keeps getting saved there. Not using a project file right now, just the code file

Thats why. Without the project file it doesn't know where to create the final exe file.
When you hit save the first time, it'll prompt you to save both the source and the project.
