Hi, this is a message to all people who know how to edit the FPSC source code to make mods like "fenix mod", "plys mod", "air mod", etc. I have looked all over the forums for tutorials on how to mod the source code, but alot of the links no longer work for the tools. If someone knows how to mod the source code for FPSC, can you please post WORKING links to the software required....thanks.

Well, I guess because you didn't mention RPGmod, the largest mod out there, I can't help.

Oh, and the one that's still in existence.

All respect to you and your mod, but that is incredibly cocky sounding of you.

I'd suggest emailing mod developers, such as knxrb, hockeykid, Dark Goblin, flatlander, etc, and see what kind of help they can offer you.

If it were me, I'd start with either knxrb or hockeykid, as they were actually employed for a period of time to work for TGC on FPSCs source code, so they really know what they're doing.

Best of luck

In no way meant for a flame, I respect RPG mod. But I really don't think in anyway RPG mod is the biggest. There are plenty bigger, Project Blue and AirMod. Even WASP has been around a long time. All of these are still in existence and old, and still used.

But lets not make this battle of the mods okay? @OP

I would suggest following the advice Titanium gave. Thats what I would do.

If your looking for a place to start, email me and I'll guide you through the process. There are also some tutorials, my favourite is Ply's.

Its a bit outdated, but a good starting point.

By "largest" I didn't mean most popular. It is the largest because of the amount of commands (the UM manual is about 200 pages). It is also the largest because of the amount of additional code that was written. 20,000 extra lines of code. Cocky? I was just stating fact. I know it's not the most popular, and understandably. What most people want are enhancements to a FPS style game dealing mainly with weapons and trying to enhance graphics as well as speed. However, what I wanted was more commands to easily develop more of a role playing game with a first person perspective.

Ahhhh, as Kermit the frog said, "it's not easy being green." In other words, being very different.

BTW, JRH, is right about Plys tutorial. This was the very first tutorial I read that got me started in coding the mod. It is an excellent start for anyone who wants to give it a shot.

My cheeky smiley was an indication that I was not totally serious about thinking mine was the best out there and Scene Commander's right. He wasn't mentioned either; but, I think we both realize we were in the "etc" category.

@TheDesertEagle,

Why not give KNRXB a shout out and ask if he could help. He's been willing to help me in the past. He probably wouldn't give you the code but whatever else to get you started . . .

I'm glad you understand now Soviet176. I really didn't mean to sound cocky.

But I really do suggest seriously for Beastlymaps to read Plys tutorial found in JRH's post.
