FPSC Classic Product Chat / How come everything is a static entity in multiplayer?

Hello all! Why is everything static in multiplayer and cannot be changed to dynamic? Also, is there a way around this? thanks!

The reason for this is the way the multiplayer handles communication from game to player, and player to player. The is currently no way around this, but Hockeykid looks like he may have modded the source to allow it in Project Apex.

So i couldn't have small plants because the player would get stuck :/

For now static is all you can do for MP.

There is a workaround for certain things (but it does have an affect on the frame rate. I believe you can still turn collision off for entities (could be wrong). The other thing you can do for some entities is to make them a weapon or ammo, and they will at least partially work.
