Hi all,

I am on the verge or buying DarkBASIC Pro because I want to get in to game creation. But one thing is stopping me, I am no artist

Would there be any point in even getting this software if I am no artist. Meaning my games are obviously going to be board / puzzle because I dont have the ability to create cool looking charactors.

Just want your opinions

Naturally im a pretty good artist and I can program fairly well. Obviously these skills go together but the desire to create outweighs the lack of artistic skill.

yu could either:

a) Find premade models/sprites on the internet

b) When you have a project going, and I mean it looks promising, then put a thread in the TEAM REQUESTS board looking for someone to do your art for you. Many people on this board are happy to help other people with their skills.
