Is there a way to replace the heightmap of a BT object once it's already been built?

I want to use the one BlitzTerrain object but be able to swap out its heightmap for another heightmap, rather than delete the BT object and build a new one each time I want to update it...

Are there no BlitzTerrain experts on here? Perhaps the person who made it?

I'm not exactly sure but i'm 99% sure that you can't do that. The whole rendering process of blitz terrain depends on a heightmap so when you change it lots of information that helps blitz terrain to calculate lod levels and other optimizations need to be calculated all over again for the new heightmap.
So in the end it's probably easier just do delete the terrain and create a new one.

Hi Brendy Boy, thanks for the reply. I was just hoping that there would be a faster, more resource efficent way of doing it in there...

You could try building them in batches and saving them to disk. I imagine loading a BT from file would be much faster than building one from a heightmap.

Not a bad idea... Lots of fun asset management code for me to do!
