Hi and welcome,

First off, you will need a modeling program, here is a few to mention,
Wings 3d
Blender
Milkshape
3d Max
3d Crafter

There are many others
but Blender is free and there is a Special edition of 3D Crafter that is free too. also these programs export the correct format, and some of the other programs will need to me loaded into another program to convert into the correct format.

You will need to make whatever model in a 3d program and need to export as a DirectX ( .X ) format

once you have created a model in the correct format, then you wil need another program

for ease of use download this one from here
http://www.wehtam.co.uk/entityworkshop

And then you import it and then you will need a Texture image, and apply it to the model

There are other ways of creating entities, but this way should get you making whatever quickly.

Please note: by asking the forums with the Heading ( Question ) is not advisable, you may get a ticking off from a Moderator, as you realy need to give move detail for what you are asking for, so your question can have more value

I hope this info can help you m8
Have fun

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

I reject your reality and substitute my own...

@AustinG011: Welcome to the forums!

Creating entities is a multi-step process which all basically boils down to:

> Modeling
> UV Mapping
> Texturing
> Making FPSC ready

For a large list of programs that can be used to create entities, check this thread I started: Your favorite entity making programs

The first step to making an entity is modeling.

There are manymodeling programs available to us indie gamers to utilize. I prefer FragMOTION, which is always free (if you type in a phrase they give you every week) but I started out with Milkshape, which has a thirty day free trial. For raw beginners with modeling/entity creation, I would start out with it, as the interface is much easier to use than FragMOTION's. Once you get the hang of it, decide if you want to continue modeling, or if you want to have an artist do it for you instead (see the sticky at the top for those that will do it for free). If you choose to go forward with it, either purchase it for $35, or switch over to Fragmo. Both programs have essentially the same tools, how you access them is a different story.

Here are some tutorials to help you out: Anayar's Complete Milkshape to FPSC Tutorial

***milkshape to fpsc for dummies tutorial***

The first one teaches you how to make models the long way, the second one teaches you how to use Entity Workshop. I've never used EW, but I know that some of the famous entity-makers on the forums use it.

Have fun!
