If got a ppl shader and i want to apply it to sections of my level. The trouble is i dont know how to set different texture stages on limbs so i can apply the three texture stages (original texture, specular and gloss).

It says you can do it the help file but it doesnt say how. can anyone please help?

texture object imagenumber,[stage]

0 - Diffuse
1 - Specular
2 - Normal/Bump

i think those are the main stages, others i'm unsure of ... been a while since i've needed them.
but you can really use any of the 16stages per texture for whatever you choose - 0 is always Diffuse though.

@Raven - please look into these things before you post.

The TEXTURE LIMB command does indeed support the following syntax:

TEXTURE LIMB Object,Limb,Stage,Image

(Note Stage comes before Image as with the TEXTURE OBJECT command, according to the stringtable)

However, it is not documented in either the keywords or the manual. (Naughty TGC!)

@Rob K: Thanks, works OK now now to find more shaders to get my game to look pretty

@Raven: I bought dbpro when it first came out and i've read the manual many many times , but for some reason i can never remember half the commands, even though i seem use them all the time

thanks again
