Hey guys, so i kind of took a break from FPSC to focus on school, course then i remembered i entered a contest so anyway i was making a custom segment and when i go to test game to see if i did everything right, i get this: (i brought my ambient light up to show what happens)

I looked into my texturebank folder to make sure i had everythingThose DDS images were made by FPSC which i delete every time unless it ends up working)

I went to my FPI script to make sure i did not miss spell anything:

I even went to earlier custom segments as well as Bond's and to no avail could i figure this out. I have tried having the textures as .png and .dds with a compression of DX5. Is anybody able to spot the issue?

Does my containment room segment work for you?

Im not being mean when I ask this, but before you ran test game did you go up to the top of the editor and press on file and go to preferences and turn on full shaders?

Yes they work as intended. (you can't really see it but i was walking around with this and i saw the same effect happen in Bond's video.

Do you know if anything else could be affecting this?

Hmm looks like its working. Try converting all your other textures to .dds

I have converted them to .dds before... i will try again and update this post with my conclusion.

If it still does not work i will need to figure out how to pay for one of bond's metro theater model pack

Edit: Bond's shader 3.0 entity shader works for me also.

Edit2: Okay so i changed the .png images to .dds with DX5 compression, i don't know if that is a issue but i heard somewhere to save it as DX5. Aaand it did not work.

If my containment room works for you, then you must have an error in your .fps file, or your textures.

Just copy and paste the containment room .fps file - and replace it with your texture names. There's no magic involved in any of my files, just follow the naming conventions EXACTLY, and compare your textures to my textures to make sure you've got all you need.

I will try that, i will edit my post when i get a result.

Edit: Replacing the textures with my own seemed to work, as they display properly now. Time to tweak some names to see where i went wrong.

Thanks guys.

Endnote: Looks like instead of _D i have to have it as _d2, whoops

Could a mod please lock this. Again thanks guys for helping me figure this out.
