I must comment on how fantastic the "Dragonborn Comes" video was. What a fantastic voice, I could listen to that song for hours.

My character is practically invincible at the default difficulty setting. Occasionally I get into a challenging fight, but 99% I just blitzkrieg anything and everything.

Have you been here? Each individual Falmer isn't difficult to kill, but there are so many of them in one spot. They also seem to be pretty strong relative to whatever level you're on

(I encountered it at level ~10 and got absolutely obliterated several times before I gave up and moved on. Around level ~19 now and I still haven't got back to clearing it)

Hey guys, I killed that Azeem guy in Whiterun because he was really getting on my nerves, everyone saw me and the guards cam after me. I ran to Windhelm and yeah. Anyone know how I can get my bounty off?

Try going to jail. Leave the town and go in with your weapon(s) put away. If they still attack and don't ask you to go to jail then try bringing your weapon out and then putting it away.

Yeah, they just attack me out of no where. They don't even give me the usual options screen. They just try to kill me.

That happens when your bounty is too high. What works for me is simply let them kill you ( put all your items in a chest ) but save the game just before they do. That way when you respawn they usually don't attack you anymore.

yeah, sometimes the guards can be a bit over the top.
I was once killed by the guards with no verbal warning for picking up an apple. (granted i was in that racist town and I am a high elf, which i thought was kinda cool that the law system isn't just blanket across the whole game)

I am having too much fun with this stupid game, and now my home projects are suffering horribly! Playing 62 hours of a game instead of coding a game for 60 hours .... I could have released the next version by now.

Unheard of, I tell you. This Skyrim is evil!

I have 150 hours... All skills are level 100, I myself am level 81 (max), and I've gotten every achievement... Now I'm playing Oblivion until I'm ready to make a new character on Skyrim, and then start the process all over again.

Indefinitely!

Except for speech that is... There's an exploit for that, and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity. Talking and trading with people for another 150 hours just isn't worth 100 in speech. >_<

Most skills just take a few hours of grinding to max anyway. It was tedious, but I couldn't stop myself...

I have spent way too much time just selling my goods to people so I can get 100,000 gold for the achievement. I have also spent way too much time looking for a girl that my girlfriend approves of to marry ingame.

Thanks, I am disliker number 460, I can be proud of that. Sorry, dislike Black Eyed Peas and when I worked at Cash Converters it managed to turn it into a violent rage.

Also, the TV keeps taunting me, it constantly shows the trailer for it and I so want it. Damn you Christmas!

Sometimes I'll express an opinion via like/dislike, but not that often. Some people use YouTube's system of likes and dislikes as feedback, so if I can be bothered, I'll give, social networking is a brilliant marketing tool after all.

hey, I take back everything I said about dragons being too easy. im lvl 38 and hadnt fought a dragon for a while, the last dragon I fought was 45 min- 1 hour battle real time It was severely hard. now i'm stuck on a quest which is kicking my butt.

that's what i get for focusing on stats rather than story.

well done bethestar. I wanted to advance in some areas my character excels in. I spent some time utilizing certain commercial aspects of the game.... big mistake, I'm getting my butt kicked.

Now I notice a steep increase in the games difficulty, especially with the dragons.
the game is really challenging and the leveling really comes into its own as yours stats tip over the midway mark toward advanced character, this here is where the action is as, it is very hard, but with persistance and clever use of magic and potions you can scrape through... just.

this game just keeps giving.

I like how many tactical options you have in the game (weapons, spells, scrolls, potions, shouts, etc) and that the game actually gives you enough of a reason to use all these options simply because of how hard it is.

Though I do have to say that it is kind of stupid that at my current level in the game (37) dragons are actually the easiest fights in the game (not counting common animals like wolves and mudcrabs). There needs to be a mod that makes all other fights slightly easier and dragon fights WAY harder.

Other than that my only complaint about the game is that the interface is crap. It's not so bad that the game is unplayable, you do get used to it as you play the game, but it's still poorly designed.

Anyway, I'm itching for the Creation Kit so I can get to moding all this stuff.

All right you primitive screwheads, listen up...

Not sure if this has been posted here, but I had been having problems with frequent random crashes to desktop with no errors. Did a bit of research and downloaded the 4GB mod (allows Skyrim to use 4GB of RAM instead of 2GB or whatever) and have had no crashes whatsoever since then.

You can get it here: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1013

EDIT(12/20): Apparently, they have now updated the game to be 4GB-aware, so that mod is no longer needed and in fact no longer works at all.

:'D

I've thought about that before. Like if what the dragonborn was saying to the dragons was along the lines of "Me kirr you" (in broken dragoneese). The greybeards can't just study becoming the words of power 24/7, they need grammar lessons too!

I play as an Orc with 2 daedric maces, it's awsome untill I meet a dragon in a place where he can't land, there is nothing I can do about him in the air. Once he lands thought 1 or 2 hits and he's dead

If you've played through the Alduin quest line, you can use the Dragonrend shout on any dragon to make it land.

Where do you find daedric gear? I remember it being really common in Oblivion, but I haven't seen it much in Skyrim. I don't think I've seen it yet after doing what I thought was most of the main storylines (and am now level 43).

You can craft it using the Blacksmithing skill. Personally, I think that skill ruined the game. It makes it way too easy to get really good gear.

Must say Skyrim is totally awesome. You can blame this + Dungeon Defenders for lack of progress on Abyeyance since my last post. However, I ain't gonna play either today.

I can't believe how much better it is over Oblivion and I loved Oblivion to pieces, though there were a few annoyances, such as the limited range of voice actors and how horrible people's faces looked. The gameplay is improved as well, I like the 'class' system on this one and find the favourites system to be useful, especially as I remember in Oblivion once I had a lot of spells it was a lot harder to navigate through lists and lists of them. Playing in 3rd person on Morrowind and Oblivion never really worked for me, but in Skyrim it works and as a result I don't use first person any more...well, it's easier to point the camera at an object you want to pick up in first person, but that's about it.

There's some challenge this time round, I have died a few times already. The dragon fights are easier than I was expecting. But I like the fights because they add something as your traverse the massive landscapes...plus you can earn a little gold and get more souls for your shouts.

So those were some improvements I liked and on top, it still feels like an Elder Scrolls game and it comes with that non-linear gameplay and the ability to explore to your heart's content.

Therefore, this game is totally amazing.

Lol, I'm starting to do that, but you know...I figure as I tend to be Destruction + Conjuration + Heavy Armour + Sword focused, I need to become some sort of super mage with the college and as a Nord, I really ought to bat for the home team in choosing alliances. And well, there's still a lot of questlines I've yet to discover, like the Dark Brotherhood...after all, I tend to be on the dark side of the force.

On Oblivion I had a jack of all trades and a full out mage. I would love to be 2 handed Weapons (I love my 2handed axe) + Destruction, but it's not actually a viable option because you're constantly switching between favourites, it was more doable in Oblivion where you could hit a different button for the equipped magic. But the magic in one hand and a sword in another approach works well enough.

I was thinking of starting a Dark Elf too, but go for the Rogue type, specialise in alteration and illusion on top. Dual Wield swords, wear light armour and switch to magic when needed and have a bow and arrow offhand for those long ranged sneak attacks.

Here's my favorite mods thus far:

UI:
http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3863

Favorites menu:
http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4862

Stronger dragons:
http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4272

All the other mods I've seen so far are either texture replacers (which are unnecessary since the game already looks great) or change the game too much for me. Unfortunately, the UI mod is unfinished, but once it is, all the major problems I have with Skyrim will be fixed.
