So my code is supposed to read the file string and add it to my Tile array in its respective position. The problem is, it wont do this because I have no idea what I am doing

I have tried doing dbReadString, dbReadLong, and neither of them will work. What might I possibly be doing wrong?

Tile[][] is an int.

assuming each character in the file will represent an int from 0-255 (byte), this should work, by the way, i think you should reverse the i and o, because you will have x and y swapped
