Hey guys, Today, when i tried to use FPSC x10, my super small test level went all all lag on me. I could barely ever turn, it would turn slowly, then have a fast twitch. I dont know what is causing this bug, is there something wrong with my computer specs?

Thanks!

You are getting that problem because it looks like your GPU is integrated.

Are you running this on a laptop or a desktop?

EDIT: Also, try to update your DirectX to 10.1

ACtually, i think its integrated, I am running it on a laptop, but it pretty huge and HP told me i could upgrade my card for a new one so i think it external, but it may be integrated because its a laptop. Also i couldn't find a link for Direct X 10.1, could you possibly link it to me.

Thanks

@feedmelmao

If you are using a Laptop, your card will be integrated. It wouldn't be external, because that would mean that it is on the outside of your laptop.

Direct X 10.1 Download.

I found the above link in literally seconds. Try to google these things yourself. We will always be here to help with FPSC related questions, but, you need to prove that you can help yourself as well.

Thats should help, but, i honestly don't think you will be able to run X10. You might be better off with X9 as that is a lot less system reliant.

An external GPU? I believe you are thinking of Integrated vs Dedicated. His card is dedicated, so his system should be able to run X10 fine. Try updating your display drivers, and make sure that there are no programs running that are taking up your whole CPU.

Hi Budo,

You can get external GPU's. Before I got my current PC, i was looking at getting one, but, they were massively pricey!

I can't imagine they would work to the same level as dedicated cards though.

Yes, but for a laptop? Wouldn't it still have to be plugged in to the PCI port, like a regular GPU (Meaning that he'd have no way of using one on a laptop)?

I usually use my fpsc x10 on my gaming desktop and I'm going on a LONG trip for thanksgiving and i was using my laptop on the way to work on my game. My laptop can run alot of games on highest setting (counter strike source, HL2, crysis warhead, cod4) so I don't see why I can't run x10. I'll try and update my drivers and get back at you guys.

Thanks
