I apologize, maybe my question will sound a bit weird but I have to know one thing.
I would like to ask, is it possible to add shaders, like bump or bumpent (or any other) to static entities whether they must be only dynamic? If it's impossible in the normal way, is there some other way to add shaders to static entities.

Thanks in advance for any helpful answer.

Hello Snake200,

Yes it's possible, however your static entity will become brighter and will lose its ability to reflect the flash lighting of a gun firing for example.

In an attached picture I am showing a static wall with no kind of bump.fx effect applied on it and still is possible to get a good bump effect though.

A texture with good quality makes all the difference in that effect. In this case the texture applied on wall

features three kinds of shaders: Diffuse (_D2), Normal (_N) and specular (_S), but no explicit stock or bond1 effect applied on it.

How would it be possible? I don't know, maybe FPSC has some type of built-in effect which makes that possible, I'm not sure about this issue.

That's it.

I hope this information be helpful for you.

Regards.
