Hey guys, trying to decide if marmoset is worth buying, so I thought I'd ask the pro's. So, I would like to know what can marmoset do for fps creator, how does it make entities (weapons mainly) look better? How does it make it look better?

Ive looked on the website (http://www.8monkeylabs.com/toolbag) and have noticed a cool feature where you can add lense flare styled lights, can you still do this for fps creator?

And are all features compatible with fpsc?

Any advice would be great! Thanks,

Wheatleyy

No mate, I dont think you have a clear idea what Marmoset is...

All Marmoset Toolbag is. is a renderer. You load your model into Marmoset then can put in your maps, add lights, etc. and render out a nice final image. So there is nothing really that Marmoset adds to FPSC unless, Im NOT sure if it does this, but unless it bakes normal and spec. maps

Cheers,
Anayar

There is no "make look better" software

The Marmoset toolbag is just a rendering software and lets you put together materials. Nothing of these features is of any use for FPSC.

Be glad you asked first, otherwise you would have lost a lot of money.

What are we supposed to reply to that? It is worth it if you are looking for an awesome rendering software for your portfolio.

It is not worth it for making entities or combining it with anything FPSC related as its not...actually that kind of software...at all.

I use Deep Exploration as a render sowftware, but you can adust vertices in it also, So I think I'll stick with it.
