I have a DB project im working on called REPO MAN...

http://www.lasthalfofdarkness.com/redmoon

Im thinking about getting DB PRO - but Im interested in hearing people's experiences with the speed differences after conveting DP to PRO. Will all dp games run faster when compiled with pro? if so -how much faster? What are your experiences?

I know its compiled vs interpeted - but how much of a difference in the FPS

Any shared experiences much appreciated.
Thanks

Well, it depends on your computer. Things compiled in pro will generally run much faster, unless you have an older low-range computer. You might want to check out the demo to see how it runs on your computer. Also, although it is fairly backwards compatible, many people have trouble converting their current project over, and they usually end up recoding it from scratch

That depends on your computer and the amount of 2d/3d the project uses. Generally I get a one-half increase, sometimes as little as one third, sometimes as much as double or even triple if it's pure polygonal rendering force.

A very nice %it, indeed.

Besides I wouldn't try to compile a DB project in Pro... it never seems to work. I'd start again if I were you...
