I would like to create a Vampire themed game. Any suggestions on scripts or models which would be useful would be appreciated.
I can find the castle and cemetery packs of course.
What I'm looking for are scripts would would allow the player
to either play as a vampire hunter, or if bitten, to become a vampire and be the character of a vampire, as in Oblivion, or Vampire Bloodlines. The problems I see are:

1.As a hunter, an action where the player attacks with a wooden stake.

2. As a vampire, an attack which looks like the player biting the neck.

3. A HUD showing the player losing blood (if a hunter)
4. A HUD showing the victim losing blood (if player=vampire)
5. Sun damage, if vampire.
6. Need suggestions for male and female npcs for vampire victims
and vampire victim actions. By the way, where are the half
nude female models which "Mature content" Im always being
nagged to prove my age seems to promise? The best I've seen is
a bikini, that seems PG to me.

I also know it's a little sick to fantasize about being a vampire, but fantasy is fantasy, and Vampire Bloodlines was fun to play.
Anyone have any suggestions for models or scripts?

Well, you've chosen an area where there is almost no media available. Aside from what you have and perhaps some small Halloween type stuff here and there, there isn't much. Chupa cabra made a female vampire a while back, but it seems that his site is down and I can't find the model. It seems there was a male vampire at one time too. Maybe someone here still has it.

You might try the "work for free" sticky and see if anyone is willing to help out. The more you have done and can show, the better your chances will be.

Good luck with it.

EDIT: I did find the vampire character on my backup drive. If Chupa cabra approves, I will post it.

That would actually be a great idea for a model pack - but in all my years here I've seen almost zero interest in that genre. I guess vampires just aren't "in" at the moment, it's still all about zombies. Unless of course you're into that Twilight stuff, unfortunately that kinda ruined the coolness of vampires.

We still have True Blood, which is not quite as lame as Twilight. Funny that this genre hasn't been done around here. Especially given the popularity that vampires have enjoyed in the last 5 years.

Thank you. Well I understand. No resources, no scripts and no interest in Vampire games. Sigh, I have a way of starting difficult projects and getting mired down in them. But what happens once I get an idea is that I then feel I'm being lazy if I don't take on the Herculean task. There is enough interest for me if I come up with something unusual. I can learn to code scripts and can create enough resources if someone will kindly point me to an editor to transform
.obj or .x models into the useable format. I believe there's a video on you tube on doing just that. Where do I download that program?
Also, please point me in the direction of a script editor, and the best education to writing scripts. I haven't dabbled in in making models or writing scripts for this program and have been away for years using 3d modeling program and competitors game making systems, which turned out in the end to be less sleek than FPS Creator. Just please direct me to model and script editing. I'll share images and results. Thanks.

Oh good, I see the graveyard pack has been added to my downloads. That will help. Well, here is a quick vampire model rendered in Poser 4, a very old, simple program I bought last month. To show how easily resources for a Vamp game can be created, I whipped this up by distorting the standard BUSINESSMAN model included, tapering his head, coloring his skin and lips and importing a background bmp wall.
With this program you can quickly animate characters and output avis for inclusion in fps Creator games. This is just a quickie. I'm going to look at resources available for poser models,
Using avis, I can get through a vampire game using animations for blood sucking and wooden staking. I suppose it will be easy to create a wooden stake weapon for the player to walk around with?
And hopefully a model that works in fps Creator that resembles the ones in the movies I create to be triggered in the game.

Here a while later is a model I bought from Meshbank loaded into poser 4, altho it's a poser 6 model. This is adequate for me to make the avi closeups and speeches also the action movies of the King of the Vampire for scenes triggered in my game. It's just for my own amusement after all. Poser 4 works with Lipsync, so I can have the Vampire do threatening speeches.
But the way, so I don't have to make a separate post, is a HUD basically am image with a transparent layer? And where do I get information on that and coding to display HUDS?

Thanks
