Hey guys, so i was working on a level for a new WIP, and i happen to get this error out of the blue.



I checked my folders, everything seemed right? do you think i need to start over modeling the entity again?

there is a file that your game is trying to load that is either not there or named incorrectly

did you add a new piece of media
check all your entities effects / fx files
the spirits are telling me that it has to do with an entity.

I added a new piece of media which was a low poly entity, which has worked in the past couple days.

I have even remade it multiple times and still it does not want to work.

Edit: Here, its not like if i upload one entity that has to do with my WIP is going to hurt it, can you try it out and give me feedback as to what i should do?

I'm not getting an error, its working fine.
this usually happens when there's a file missing.
mabe try delete this line from the fpe:

effect = effectbank\ps_3_0\entities\static\norm_alphaspec_tangentbasis.fx

and see if it works, because I dont even have the folder "ps_3_0 and also what version are you running

ok, I've tried every wich way to simulate your error and could not do it with the entity itself, I would say there is something wrong with your FPSC installation.

I didnt even get an error when renaming files incorrectly, the model just shows up as white, or not at all but no error.

Really I am running the recent copy of the shader, however i found a parallax shader that looks like it is set up for FPSC. When i get home i will see if that name convention is what is messing it up, if all else fails i suppose i will have to go reinstall.

Edit: [parallax shader won't work, the person did not comment enough]

I looked at my folder, the Shader 3.0 folder says ps_3_0, i tried using the shader 2.0 that came with the recent build of fpsc and it did not want to work, the texture does not show up correctly.

Try using the DBA cleaner or what ever it's called. It's located in the main FPSC folder...

I have ran it multiple times, let me see if trying it on the shader 1.4 bumpent if it does anything differently?

Edit: It stops specifically at preregenerate physics universe

Edit2: Still will not work, mind uploading yours to see if yours works?

Edit3: Weird, i made a simple test room with nothing but a segment, player start, and a small light, and it did not get past the build, i think i have to reinstall my FPSC.
