I have marked that I am younger than 18, and I'm fine with it not showing me the packs, but not letting me download the Free version of FPSC?! That's just ridiculous! It's free, so shouldn't it be my choice to download the free one? Now I can't see what this program is like, which makes me mad! Could you guys please be able to let me download this?

Have you tried contacting TGC directly? I don't know of any of the TGC staff that actually monitors the forums. BTW, I can understand your feelings.

I haven't, it just recently happened to me. I'm not trying to bag on anyone, but I've been waiting to download this thing for the whole week. To have this happen is kind of shocking in a sense.

Take it easy pal, is no use to be mad with this kind of situation. It happens, and it would not make sense to hide the content of the model packs and let you download the software if you are under 18, would it?

I recommend you to clean your browser cache or try using another one and download the software.

I am taking it easy, I just don't see the - let me correct myself. At that moment I wasn't too easy, but I thought I was. I didn't result to swear words or anything, that's good. But, what is this 'cache' thing you're talking about? I don't know what or where that is.

Cache is memory, in this case browser memory. Your browser remembers where you've been what you typed into forms, your preferences, etc. I don't know what browser you're using, but the option to clear the cache is most often in the settings/options somewhere. Alternatively, you can just use another browser if you have one installed. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.

If you're under 18 you shouldn't be playing with FPSC. It's graphically violent, with photo realistic graphics, and vivid depictions of gore.

There's a naked guy and worse than that a chick in a bikini.

Here is what you should try, either using a different browser, clearing the browsers cache or just wait until your a bit older because if you thought he was serious... I don't know if your old enough for FPSC.
My Vision:
You get FPSC.
You: "Alright, no to make the next MW3!"
After 3 hours of random stuff thrown into a level.... You get a level that has no walls, probably some of the doors won't work... and whatever other noob mistakes possible of being made will be made.
You: "AAAArrrrggggggghhhhhh!!!!! I hate FPSC!"
Either way you don't have to make a game with a naked guy in it. I've only seen about 3 models that are really part of "mature" content. Yes, blood is able to be disabled.
You can make a "T" rated game if you want and even, if God willing, an "E" rated game.

The point is that I don't want to see a naked man. And again, I've contacted the TGC people to maybe get taken care of. I explained some things to them, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get to change my age. If so that stinks, and I'm going to just have to quit making games and move onto animation and writing.

LOL! You don't have to see a naked man. You design the game and can you anything you want, if you want t o see flaming teddy bears go for it. You can with FPSC. FPSC can make the most mature game yo've ever seen, or it can be the most childish game you've ever seen, or anything in between.

First off, Thraxas is joking. Actually being a bit sarcastic.

The naked man is frontal view without any private parts. No big deal. Also, he is just a static figure and does not move around because he's dead.

The girl in the bikini. Well, you probably seen even less on television or in a movie or on the beach or swimming pool.

@Vental, I like it that your honest and I certainly don't want to lead you astray but I think it is OK this time to say your older than 18. Of course everybody now knows that's not true.

Stop worrying about the naked guy, its basically got no detail.
Isn't FPSC ESRB rating 13+ they went to a lot of trouble to get that rating which is the reason you enter your age so mature content isn't available to you.
I am not sure but any content deemed unsuitable (such as blood etc) in FPSC itself I think is disabled by default and has to be enabled by the user who wont be told how to do this unless they are of an appropriate age.
If you are under 13 years of age then its not for you and you should wait till you are.

Edit* Just checked it out and sure enough its marked at 17+ I am sure when I bought way back it was 13+ on the box (cant check it out cos its back in the UK) so what was all the ballyhoo with getting the rating and removing content from the store etc, if its 17+ might as well be 18+ and be done with it.

everywhere on the buy- and free-fpsc sites there is a big M 17+ button right above the purchase/download button.

not that hard to think "i have to lie when i want it" or "damn, i am too young for this".

so dont blame TGC, grab your own nose.

I like Aiko, I really do but shes so..... military.
Her idea of dinner and a movie is c-rations and a recon. When we go on vacation it's an overseas operation. She counts cadence in bed. I said, "She counts cadence in bed" !!! Still, you gotta love a girl who can look good in a yellow bikini over swat gear.

That bikini belongs to Yellow by the way. Now she was a lot of fun. Very bright and tightly wrapped. She ran off with brown. I'm suing UPS.
