Alright, I'm an old FPSC fossil knowing a lot of tricks and tweaks, but I'm giving it to you straight, if you are inspired by Battelfield, Call of Duty or the likes...get your inspiration elsewhere. FPSC is for much smaller projects and not war epos. Think Penumbra, not skyrim

(not sure if this figure of speech actually makes sence)
Quote: "
*you are strapped to a chair, low dim red back-up light as only lighting source in room. You can look around and see a high tech room, with papers scattered across desk. After 10 seconds a person opens the door to your room*
Person:"oh thank God! You're still alive!""Quickly! We must leave!"
you:"who are you? What's going on here?"
*person goes to chair, undoing restraints*
Person:"No time to explain, but we must hurry."
*person grabs ur wrist, leading you to door*
Person:"wait here"
*person leaves, 4 seconds later you hear a gunshot, military soldier enters doorway*
Soldier:"who are you, what are you doing here?"
You:"I'm (insert name here), I was brought here for an experiment."
*soldier points gun at you*
Soldier:"where you injected?"
You:"no, why?"
*soldier lowers weapon*
Soldier:"good, come with me."
"
Ha! No
You can do some things with a little scripting and others with a lot of scripting but most of them not in a believable way.
A cutscene would be the way to go here
You can however have a character enter a room, get behind the player (out of camera) and you can
pretend having him cut you loose with a sound, but that taking you by the wrist part is not really realisable.
Errant AI's task force soldiers have the right animations for this entire "point gun at you" and "lower weapon" thing. However, to make it believable you do need a lot of know how.
I also read this entire "experiment" and "injected" thing as a zombie game, right? Don't do one of these, we get flooded by them.
If you get your new system all set up, start with a small project that will teach you how to map and please ask questions on the forums
Best are threads that have multiple questions at once
FPSC might seem rather dull on first impression, but its not.
