My favorite picture. Not because I like snow. For me, this picture really shows a really tragic disaster, that mother nature has sent to us. The shot is pretty good, but there are two flaws in the map itself: At the right of the picture you can see the end of the terrain - looks a little strange. Also there doesn't seem to be snow on some of the buildings. Sure, it's a little work to retexture everything, but that's not a big deal. The atmosphere is good and that's what counts."
Wow, we won

I miss a couple days and a nice surprise back.
Thank you, Jan, for that informative analysis. You and Tim have an excellent method of explanations and it is appreciated to review the hows and whys of your choices.
It is funny you mention these two items about our shot. The first hour on the screen we made a flat thin entity, added a snow texture, and that was placed on the flaps on the plane to partially cover them. I then did some of the lower buildings. Had I put a bit more time on it, we could have done all the buildings. I see the point on the right side- I could have placed trees or a building there to hide that "end-of-the-grid" line. I've noted that for next time.
Congrats to Rolfy and good job to the others that participated. We enjoyed all the entries this time around.
