I don't know if this is the right forum, but has anyone seen any FPSC games go big like commercial wise?

Not sure what you define as "big" but here's a list of commercial games made using FPSC that I compiled some time ago:

Quote: "Operation Ex-Tempora
The Hunt for Osama
Stumgart
C.R.T
Outbreak
The Commander Josh Chronicles
Legacy of Cthulhu
Replicore
Cry of the Infected
Letters Kingdom
Froggy Shootout
E.L.E. (maybe vapor-ware)
Pioneering
Operation Wolfsburg
Mob Ties Tokyo (Thanks, Deltayo)
Project Fateh (New)

+ tons of bargain bin/shovel-ware titles using only stock media that don't deserve names"

And a few more since then and to be honest, while all of these games are commercial, I'm not sure if any quite meet the standard of "big" or even "commercial quality" (a debate that has breached the walls of this forum many, many, many times).

From a nowaydays point of view, we did NOT meet "commercial quality" as I would define it now.

However, the publisher cashed something between 200.000 and 300.000 € with "Anderson & the legacy of Cthulhu", making it a quite commercial project at all.

Sorry about that... I was judging it on the aforementioned "nowaydays point of view". I myself enjoyed Anderson, but with Unity and UDK being free for the last couple years, "commercial quality" for an (especially for indies) has been forever redefined.

same again here as Ertlov

with game that are arrising all the time, they are just getting so intense with graphics, models and mainly online gaming these days,

and this game engine as good as one can get for value does not compete for standards in this day and age, but nether the less a game can be made to a commercial value depending what target of the market you are trying to reach, hence Low budget.

a lot of people think they need a big team of developers, No
look at the creator of the Tycoon Games that are on the market, created by one developer, im sure he may had more helpers, but realy he did it all on his own, just read the creators story for full understanding, he is basicly a one man band! so to speak but is doing very well and i have 8 of the tycoon games that are made very well by the creator, ok a differant concept in game engine, but he worked at it.

And that is my point, you need to work at it and set your value to what you are making, Example this software if mainly for creating a first person shooter, but can also be used for other type of games.

Just remember there are many old games that are a good game to play with medium graphics and sound that are still being produced again using other game engines.

So i would say think hard about the game you need to develope, and get your storyboard together and work on it.

i personaly have a unique game in development, But it will not compete against the new arrivals in this day and age, But it is a unique game that im creating and now im just going to give it away.
As i feel it would be such of an old type game type, for tis day and age of gaming.

And so im not gonna try to compete aginst the market, But just try and get it out there to be a game that is differant and that hopfully some one will like.

It is very hard to make a comercial product, but nether the less one needs to try, and i hope you try hard enough that you can acheive your goal!

There are many skilled modelers scripters/coders in this community and hence we are here, and may help you in you creation, and reducing your your time aspect for you game, ie help with scripts, models extra.

i think you can get the best support for you creation in this communtiy than any other

Round up: the game you create is what you make it and to what region/target of the commercilism you are aiming at.

I'am not GOD but i can make you see again by taking my fingers out of your eyes and i can make you walk again by taking your beer away, but if you take my beer you will not walk again

99% of all "pro" unity games look by far worse than anything wolf creates in his spare time.

And neither Unity nor UDK are free if you go commercial.
