@Scene Commander, it was pointed out in another thread thread that 1.19 has Vsync turned off while 1.18 still had it enabled. Was disabling Vsync in 1.19 something that was carried over from the integration of WASP mod? And if that's the case, would turning it off for V1.18 lead to the same performacne results? Because I did see an impressive frame rate increase on my rig (running with a Nvidea GTS 250) from 58ish to 70+ when swapping in the 1.19 beta. But is this only because 1.19 has been uncapped or is there optimization going on from WASP?
EDIT:

If he's only getting single-digit framerates on his computer, I would also recommend (maybe over level design optimization) running the game without shader effects and/or dynamic lighting.
My PSU burned out on my higher end computer last week and I'm back to my integrated video card on my other one for the time being, and even a small two room test level drags at about 15fps with the post-bloom shader enabled for me. Disabling postprossing and blossershaders in the setup.ini, and dynamic lighting, bumps my fps for the same testmap up to 80.
