Hi all. I use 3ds Max for my modelling, and I have the Pandasoft .X exporter plugin. Does anyone know how to get it exporting your animations correctly? I'm using bones in the animation and I just can't get it to output the animation correctly. All I get are little jitters and no mesh deformation at all...

Are you including the bones in the selection for export? Also don't use the character skeletons, build your own as the biped skeletons don't work... I think... it's been a while...

Out of curiosity... shouldn't this be in 3D chat or something... not DBPro...
Just saying...

Shouldn't be because everyone can save a 3d scene in the editor's own format without problems, but exporting into DBPro is kinda a whole new artform on its own.

How come you still have problems with this? I'm puzzled since you have already showcased some scenes of your game with moving characters in them.

-In.Dev.X: A unique heavy story based shoot'em ~35%
-CoreFleet: An underground commander unit based RTS ~15%
-TailsVSEggman: An Sonic themed RTS under development for idea presentation to Sega ~15%

@Quel - The monsters in my game so far are from the FPSC model packs. All other animated models have no bones in them.

@baxslash - Yeah, I'm just using standard bones, not bipeds. It's actually not for a character, but for a weapon that needs deformation. I've included the bones in the export and tried multiple different export settings but it doesn't want to work for me.

@MrValentine - My problem is with getting the exported files to work in DBpro. If I reimport it back or view the .X file with a viewer, the bones work fine. So I've put it here.
