You can do it yourself with windows dll calls.

I have not time and money to go this road too far (programming the games and something near with this) and have conscience to never use piracy software. I only can wait, when Bamber will do what I asked. May be he will.

Instead of mentioning "this can be done with DLL calls", can you please post something constructive and actually show how it's done with a DLL? I'd like to know myself

Well, need to use DLL. But I do not know which program is simpler for this and cheaper. Or how to use standard Windows DLL. Help me: show the code.

I was wondering the same thing.

There's a lot of useful stuff hidden away in the Windows DLLs but I've no idea how to use them. I've tried to find documentation on the MS web site but can never make any sense of it. It would be very helpful to Leonid and many others (including me) if someone could post a link where everything is explained in plain language.

There are one or two relevant threads scattered around the forum but they are hard to find.

Hmm... I wish I could mention it but I would pretty much be quoting the book... wouldnt that be ok because in my opinion I use the book as a guide and the information in it is pretty much general info no¿

Funny thing of course is to just demand the complete feature XD.

Apart from this I did some research and figured out it will really require a plugin to do that.

You could reach the needed function in the "shell32.dll" but you have to build a NOTIFYICONDATA structure, which is required as parameter for the function "Shell_NotifyIcon".

Maybe we can persuade Brendy boy to build this into BBB GUI.

There is already a DLL made for this. Here is the link to the thread.

Though old, it still seems to work for me. Though I don't think it supports all the functions that normal system tray icons support.

So hopefully this should be easier for you then using DLL calls.

The great Thanks, Admiral MH. I did not see the whole forum: I have the problem with my free time and with translation from english. Next time I will read a forum more.
