how do you render an image into an object like dbMakeObjectPlane?

use the image as the texture of the plane, is that what you meant? mind explaining a bit more?

dbTextureObject() should do it.

NOTE! Trying to make an animated sprite on a plane is pretty much impossible. Just apply each frame (saved as a seperate image) one after the other. That is, if you plan on animation at some point or another.

And as a reference, if you plan on "billboarding" this 3D image, don't make the mistake I've seen SO many people make. Do NOT point the object at the character: Point it at the camera.

Anyway good point on the point to camera not player... nice one... I can see where it helps too... also umm... if you want an animation... How about an avi file... same principle...
