No I literately use those sheets as cheap white-boards, so write on them when they are up on the wall. If I get a really good idea I want to keep then I pull the sheet off the wall when it dries and add it to a makeshift A2 Posterbook, then replace the sheet with a clean one. They just cling by static, a fantastic invention!

Love your setup btw, a bit clinical for my chaotic style but I appreciate it's simplicity!

@Slayer - I have three old CRT monitors upstairs, one only shows red, the other is so dark you need to shine a torch on it (kidding that doesn't really work) and the last is a 6 inch tube pulled from an old Osborn portable computer. (don't ask why it's a long boring story with little in the way of moral point)



So you can have them!

Depends what I am working on at the time. Haven't taken pics in a while,, but my setup still looks similar to these older pics, and more recent (about a year ago). I'll see if I can get around to taking some pics today.

And yes, I am in a dungeon. It's actually the basement. It's the only spot that my computer would fit.

My phone is apart on the desk and that mug contains cocoa. My Best Buy rewardzone card is there and the trophy on the computer was given to me by my girlfriend.

Welcome to the games room.

Behind me is a desk with my consoles on and to the right a beanbag and the oldest, but the most comfy sofa I have ever owned. Most of the stuff in that room is hand me downs from other people or stuff that i managed to talk my way into getting (the desk was being chucked away at a nearby school and after a massive arm twisting I convinced them to let me have it, there isn't a mark on it at all). I will get around to buying a desktop soon as my laptop is nearly 3 years old and was a slow one when i bought it. I also need to buy some curtains as well...

I noticed the Colt and the Luger. I can't really tell what the other pistol is... Man, I'd love a Luger... But for $1500 I can live without one...

They just didn't work well with my current layout, and felt claustrophibic. So I did away with the overhead lighting to keep glare down.

The keyboard is a Keytronic Classic series. I have a Unicomp Model-M clone that I'll pull out from time to time, but that sucker is SO loud, especially during quiet evenings.

The Keytronic is a joy to use - if you like the classic IBM full size keys with the long-throw feel, minus the loud click, it's a great keyboard. I personally can't stand the newer keyboards with their spongy feel and short key travel.

Whats your uplink Jer?...

I have co-location options here haha...

But just a 10meg max uplink... peak it averages 1.2MB/s so not too bad

I plan to run a server in virtual pc mode... maybe freenas or freebsd... not aure yet but just for http/ftp testing... however I still got my massive hosting space so... maybe just use it for closed beta testing...

My office space is a 17 x 27 foot room off of the garage. There's a wood stove, but as I'm in and out a lot it's not always safe to leave that going when I step out. So I have space heaters. The radiator is an oil warming space heater with a small fan behind it to spread the heat around the room.

The rack is in a bit of disarray. At one time I had 4 actual rackmount servers on it, but one by one their proprietary shaped power supplies went bad. Not wanting to spend the ridiculous amount of money they wanted for a simple 300W power supply, I chose to just build standard desktops for servers. For the moment they are stacked next to the rack, but I'm moving the rack around a bit and plan to put the servers on shelves like they're supposed to be.

The internet connection here is 25/25mbit fiber.

I'm not very good at dusting, as you can see on the UPS at the bottom of the rack. You caught me at a good time when I had just finished cleaning and rearranging my desk.
