If you have a youtube account, and you follow Rick's Youtube channel. You might have noticed it already. There is this guy on youtube that has links in the discription of his youtube video to mediafire. And I think that I don't have to explain what you can download once you have clicked on that link. He had download links to modelpack 12,20,27,32,33,34,35,40,52,54. So this means that Rick just did a HUGE and an AMAZING pirate catch.

So again,

Congratulations, Rick.

the right celebrates victory. ( <-- Thats how you say it in English right ? )

I don`t get it. The MPs are really affordable, especially bonds and EAIs stuff is in terms of price-quality ratio a bargain. Pirating that is so ridiculous...

Come to where the madness is:

The guy needed telling! It's unlikely he'll change his ways. All we can do is get the hosts to pull down the files (it's a constant issue)

BTW, a user made me aware of it!

The reason pirates are still out there doing this stuff is that no one has lit one on fire yet. You light one pirate on fire in the street and the rest suddenly think twice...I should probably never be in power...

If it wasn't illegal... I would build anti-piracy functions into my programs. If I found a user's serial key had been used a large number of times, I could disable the software, or even better, activate some malware on all of those nasty pirates computers.

I won't, its illegal, but it should be allowed as a way to protect your company.

How is it illegal¿... German software companies in particular use three time activation locks ALL the time... thats why I HATE and that is a strong word... their softwae...

Im sure there is an easy and solid preventitive... like displaying a users personal data on launch to show who the licence belongs to... I am sure this is one defense mech. also online verification tools or techniques...

What you described is not, however installing malicious software onto a computer is illegal, and falls under the Computer Misuse Act.

Sorry. I mean that if I was aware that my software was pirated, then I could install malware on the pirates computers. This is illegal.

But in order to tell on you for what would probaby be a misdemeanor, he has to admit to a felony.

Still illegal but hey, I wanted to light him on fire.
